This feature allows you to modify the content of your app's embed directly from its channel using specific commands. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what you can do and how to do it:
Commands Overview
1. Edit the App Name
Use this command to change the name displayed in the embed.
Command:
/edit name <name>Example:
/edit name My Awesome App
This updates the app name in the embed to “My Awesome App.”
2. Edit the Description
Update the description of your app as displayed in the embed.
Command:
/edit description <description>Example:
/edit description This app makes life easier.
This updates the description in the embed.
3. Edit the Google Group Link
Change the URL linked to the Google Group button in the embed.
Command:
/edit google-group <Google Group link>Requirements: The link must follow this pattern:
https://groups.google.com/g/{GROUP_NAME_HERE}Example:
/edit google-group https://groups.google.com/g/my-group
This updates the button’s URL to the new Google Group link.
4. Edit the Web Test Link
Modify the URL linked to the Web Test button in the embed.
Command:
/edit web-test <Web Test link>Requirements: The link must follow this pattern:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/{APP_NAME_HERE}Example:
/edit web-test https://play.google.com/apps/testing/my-app
This updates the Web Test button with the new link.
5. Edit the Promocodes Link
Change or create a Promocodes button in the embed.
Command:
/edit promocodes <Promocodes link>Example to Add or Change:
/edit promocodes https://example.com/promocodesExample to Remove:
/edit promocodes(leave the link field empty).
This removes the Promocodes button if it exists.
Additional Notes
All edits will reflect instantly in the embed.
